As I walked the path t’wards eminence,
I crossed paths with an old dame.
She spoke of a road less travelled by,
told me, I should give it a try.
Only a fool is swayed by a drifter.
But fool was I for heeding her advice.
I went to seek for the road she spoke of,
and there, i was met with a crossroad.
For once I thought of turning back,
But chance was there for me to grasp.
If only I know where to go at,
I wouldve been gone in split second.
So I sat helplessly by the roadside;
patiently waiting for a passerby.
yet night has come and none hath passed,
and days hath passed yet none has come.
I was in despair when a figure I saw.
T’was the woman from before, I know.
“Told you, it’s a road less travelled by.”
She brashly spoke leaving me mortified.
