Le Fleur

Where Lilacs’ grow their prettiest,

Where birds sing their sweetest;

There lies a fragile rose,

A May flower, she’s called.

.

Throughout the years she grew sublime;

Her petals bloomed, her beauty shines.

Gifted with goodness and charm,

She’s adorned with praises and warmth.

.

Even time can’t let her wither.

Allured are they that notice her.

A flower raised with love,

She’s a beauty, all eyes should see.

HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE

The scenic beach,

along with your smile,

one summer noon,

What a sight to behold.

.

I felt your warmth,

As I dance on the sand,

basking the sun;

the salty smell of the beach.

.

You’re like the waves;

strong yet gentle,

soothing and lovely,

you are the sea.

.

Assure me then,

for all waves I see,

they come and go,

never the same again.

.

How deep is your love?

Is it like the oceans?

or as shallow as lakes?

SEA

I once saw a small boat
with a speed that of a slug;
the tides where high up,
yet it stayed rowing.

.

Like a tree blown by a tornado,
was the poor boat in the waves’ palm.
Yet, boy was he resilient!
His oars turned swords,
jousted the angry sea.

.

What a fateful night t’was,
all men’s faith were dead, I saw.
None get to tell that night’s tale but I,

for I am part water.

TO BE AT A CROSSROAD

As I walked the path t’wards eminence,
I crossed paths with an old dame.
She spoke of a road less travelled by,
told me, I should give it a try.

Only a fool is swayed by a drifter.
But fool was I for heeding her advice.
I went to seek for the road she spoke of,
and there, i was met with a crossroad.

For once I thought of turning back,
But chance was there for me to grasp.
If only I know where to go at,
I wouldve been gone in split second.

So I sat helplessly by the roadside;
patiently waiting for a passerby.
yet night has come and none hath passed,
and days hath passed yet none has come.

I was in despair when a figure I saw.
T’was the woman from before, I know.
“Told you, it’s a road less travelled by.”
She brashly spoke leaving me mortified.

HARK HOW THE BELLS SWEET WEDDING BELLS!

Have you ever dreamed of walking down the aisle and spend your whole lifetime with the man/woman of your dreams? These two did.

Pandemic might have slowed the world’s progress, but it did not stop the love Mitch and Gp have. On Jun 28, 2020, the two lovers tied the knot in an exclusive in-house wedding which was held at —————–.

And yes, I was Invited.*hairflip*

THE NEWS

All of us were surprised when we heard the news about my cousin(the groom) finally winning the YES of Mitch last year. After the successful proposal, GP and Mitch planned to have their grand wedding at the Seventh-day Adventist church at ————–. The event was well-planned and prepared until COVID-19 came and ended it .

Yet love , breaking boundaries and finding ways, the two then resorted to a minimal wedding ceremony and this is where the story begins…

PREPARATIONS AND TRAVEL

NOTE: I don’t have any Idea on the ‘what abouts’ of the wedding plan so I’ll be narrating this merely on my point-of-view yet try to capture and put to words the highlights on that day so you can bask the wedding event in your homes or wherever you’re at.

Since my father was one of the chefs at the reception, the preparation was carefully thought of. Together with my mom and my other relatives, they headed there first.

The day after, My sister woke up at around 4 am and prepared our breakfast. After fueling ourselves, we cursorily did our personal rituals, put our face masks on, and when the clock struck 6:30, we hit the road. Fortunately, there was no traffic jam and the road was at its clearest, thus we arrived just after two hours.

As expected, we’re a little early for the wedding.

When I entered the three storey mansion, The first thing that greeted me was the mesmerizing grand staircase elegantly decorated with flowers and wedding ornaments. I then looked around and saw the busiest people of that day. With the pressure of time-keeping and scrupulous decorations, everyone were working their fastest yet carefully not leaving any single detail behind. There were hanging vines and flowers all over making the place look as if its a fairy palace. Overall, it was beautiful. Too beautiful that I lost words describing more of its feature.

___________________________________________________________________________________________

The wedding hasn’t started yet, making me bored. So I took a quick stroll around the place. From afar, I can see my boarding school making me want to go there. Yet because of the pandemic, Students cannot enter without their Health certificate taken from their Municipalities. When I was done with my short trip, I head back and changed to my wedding attire. In just an hour, the place was already filled with guests and wedding participants all finely dressed and already catching up with their acquaintances whom they might have missed throughout the quarantine season.

HERE COMES THE BRIDE

The program started with a song rendition from one of the singers. The wedding entourage walked down the staircase as the singer sang a sweet love song.

I saw then the groom standing nervously near the altar with mixed emotions and thoughts running in his mind. He looked dashing with his tuxedo and his crisp white suit. He smiled at me as I waved my hand at him from afar. When all the entourage was at their place, all of us buckled up and held our breath, as we all welcome the most anticipated person of the event.

All eyes was on her as she gracefully walk with ease on her elegant white gown and her stunning look. she was by no doubt, the most gorgeous woman that day. I saw the groom in tears as he held her hand and guided her to the altar. Truly, it was the most touching moment I saw.

When the exchange of vows and the signing of certificates was done, all of us were all ears as the minister finally declared GP and Mitch as husband and wife.

Their lifetime deal of happiness and love was then sealed with their purest and sweetest kiss.

Truly, there was pure bliss that day. Everyone was filled with love as they welcome the newly wedded couple: Mr. and Mrs. Aguilar.

.

Avast ye!

Since this event is of great significance to me personally, I made this as my first Life blog in this website.

‘a novice still learning her trade’

YOU, YES YOU.

I wonder if you’ll notice this, but anyway, who cares?
Im not a friend, nor an acquaintance,
Just someone from a far distance.
A mere fan, that’s all I am.

To write about you is already odd;
I might just be dazed or confused.(it’s absurd!)
Still you caught my eye,
And I don’t know why.

To end this nonsense,
This hokeypokey, humbugerry, fiddle-faddle tosh;
Atleast let me give u a clue:
Wait, Never mind. (coz you might know.)

🌸

But if you are that curious , then comment down below.

P.s. I might give you a hint or two.

GIUSTIZIA

Too facile to execute Deceit,

Yet all still varies on fate’s verdict.

You might dodge the human arrows,

But ne’er from Guilt’s gallows.

Bow your head,

And off you go.

Aim it high,

And they’ll see it on a spike.

Make haste and hide;

Run from Justitia’s wrath.

For if you will be found,

In your blood, shall you bath.

‘GIUSTIZIA’ s the Roman word for ‘JUSTICE’.
